Semi Automatic Ship Confirm Process

In Semi Automatic Process Deliveries will be automatically created where as we need to allocate Items to Move orders manually

Create a Sales Order line & give details as shown below

Book the order & Navigate to Shipping > Transactions à Search for Order Number

Select both the lines & give Action: Launch Pick Release & click on Go. We can see that a Move Order is created for both the lines

Navigate to Inventory > Move Orders > Transact Move Orders

Select both the lines & click on Allocate

You get a message saying

Navigate to Shipping > Transactions à Search for Order Number & give action as Auto-create Deliveries

Click on Go & we can see that the deliveries are created

Go to Delivery Tab & give action as Auto-Create Trip

Click on Go. Click on ‘Path By Stop’ & ‘Path by Trip’ & see the Trips & Stops

Click on Ship Confirm Tab & uncheck Set Delivery In-Transit

It means that it is the responsibility of our customers to collect goods from our premises

Now navigate to ‘Path by Stop’ tab & click on first line & give action as ‘Update Status’

& click on Go & give details as shown below

Once it is done the status of lines will change to ‘Shipped’

Automatic Ship Confirm Process

In Automatic Ship Confirm Process we go for Auto Create Deliveries & Auto Ship Confirm process

Navigate to Setup > Shipping > Shipping Parameters & give details as shown below

Now book an order

Navigate to Shipping > Transactions à Search for order number

Give Action as Launch Pick Release

We can see that a Delivery is created

Go To Delivery Tab & click on Ship Confirm

Press OK

The detail status is now Closed

With this our ship confirm process is over
